libgdcm-java software package provides Grassroots DICOM Java bindings, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgdcm-java
libgdcm-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgdcm-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgdcm-java *
You will get with libgdcm-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
